The outstanding quality of our tinned tuna is partly thanks to our processing system – as soon as the fresh tuna arrives at our facilities, parts are immediately cut and put into the tins. Its flavour is enhanced by the covering liquid, which comes in a number of different formats, including with olive oil, sunflower oil or tomato sauce, and in its natural or low in salt versions.
When preparing our product we take extra special care of the raw materials to offer the highest-quality final product.
Our tinned tuna is made as follows:
-Reception of fish
-Cutting (extraction of parts of tuna intended for preserving)
-Cooking, in a water and salt solution.
– Maintenance and cooling.
– Manual skin removal.
– Machine packing.
– One of the key steps to achieving our unique flavour is the addition of the finest Andalusian olive oils, natural tuna brine or our tomato sauce.
– After, the tins are hermetically sealed and sterilised in autoclaves to obtain a completely sterile product.
The tins are then washed and dried before proceeding with their packaging and boxing. The process concludes with storage of the product for subsequent shipment.
